My Journey into the Power of Love
Most of us know that the first seven to nine years of life are foundational—they shape the very core of who we are. But what I’ve come to understand on a deeper level is that this is also the time when our heart chakra develops. It’s during these years that we begin to open to self-awareness, connection, and independence. It’s the stage where we first start making choices for ourselves and learning to trust in life.
When a child is raised in a loving environment, the heart chakra naturally flourishes. This creates a foundation for navigating life with openness, confidence, and a sense of inner connection. However, when these formative years are affected by fear, control, or toxicity, the development of the heart chakra may become disrupted.
I’ve observed how a blocked heart chakra can leave us feeling disconnected—not just from ourselves, but also from others and the flow of life itself. It’s as though something vital is missing, and we aren’t entirely sure how to rediscover it.
This disconnection often manifests as a love for power—a need to control the world around us to fill that empty space. However, I’ve learned that true strength doesn’t stem from a love of power. It originates from the power of love. Love, when it flows freely, serves as our greatest source of healing, creation, and connection.
One of the most beautiful ways I’ve discovered to open the heart is through sounding or singing, giving voice to what we feel. When we make sounds or sing, we naturally direct our focus to the heart space. Imagine your heart with big, joyful lips, singing your unique song into the world. It might seem silly at first, but that’s part of the magic! If you find that you can’t laugh or feel joy while picturing this, let it serve as an invitation to open your heart even more.
Sounding helps us release tension, express ourselves, and reconnect with our joy and love. It reminds us that the heart is not merely a place of feeling—it is a place of creation, resonance, and expression.
This understanding lies at the heart of my work. By assisting individuals in healing their early wounds and reconnecting with their heart chakras, I facilitate their shift from fear to love, from control to connection. When we embrace the power of love, we reclaim our true essence and rediscover the beauty and unity that life has always presented.
So, regardless of how disconnected we may feel, our hearts are always ready to reopen, and the power of love is constantly within reach—it signifies our true strength.
